What remained of the Bay St. Louis bridge after Katrina came ashore. Ever since the storm
hit, so many people from inside and outside of the region were impressed by the help that Mississippians were giving each
other, their generosity in sharing relief supplies, and the governor's efforts at reconstruction and re-envisioning the
Mississippi coast. Strength of leadership, quickness of restoration of services and the hope for the future was near and
far reaching
