Near Keesler Air Force Base main gate just off Highway 90 in Biloxi. Following the storm,
barricades including the simple ones in the above photo, barbed wire, fences and military checkpoints were used to prevent
non-residents and non-emegency personnel from entering into the most devastated areas. Keesler AFB is home to The 53rd

that flies into tropical storms and hurricanes
